Phase 1 is complete - my new site (this one) is now live.

 

A note on personal websites and blogs: the automated blog tools out there are great - but the ability to edit the critical SEO elements of the site can be very limited, and the out of the box code that’s generated is almost certainly less-than-ideal for search optimization.

 

For speed and ease of use, I say - use the tools you have available (for me, iWeb), but you’ll need to carefully review the automatically generated code and make a few important edits in order to make sure Google sees your site as you would like others to see it. More on this later - baby is stirring!
